So my point of view is clear: it is more important for college students to accumulate knowledge than to shape their personality. I will elaborate our views from the following points.
First of all, as I said, as a student, our college students' bounden duty is to learn and accumulate knowledge and face the future social competition. If a college student wants to take part in the competition, he must accumulate knowledge in the university, and for the school, the most important thing is the students. For a college student, the most important thing to improve their social competitiveness is to use the university for several years to accumulate knowledge in all aspects.
Second, the cruelty of the objective society determines the importance of knowledge accumulation for college students. Without knowledge, they can't make a living, support their families and serve their country. So when they can't make a living, support their families or serve their country, what about personality building? The purpose of lacking means can only be castles in the air. With the development of society and increasingly fierce competition, knowledge has become the main driving force of economic development. As college students, we will eventually go to the society and serve the society, so that our life value can be reflected in the society, so we should accumulate solid knowledge.
Third, social progress, first of all, is guided by the development of science and technology, not by personality and morality, namely:

Fourth, contemporary society is developing with each passing day, and multi-cultures collide with each other. In such a society full of variables, we college students must have the ability to distinguish right from wrong, in order to drive away the good and the evil. It is with such knowledge that one can shape one's personality. As the saying goes, reading can distinguish right from wrong, and walking on Wan Li Road can distinguish right from wrong. Without a certain amount of knowledge accumulation, how can we talk about personality shaping?
