What are the dormitory conditions in Peking University?
When the school starts in August and September every year, one of the questions that candidates are most concerned about is the dormitory conditions, dormitory environment and whether there are pictures of boys' and girls' dormitories for reference. I wrote you the article "How are dormitory conditions in Peking University", and I will introduce you to the dormitory problem in Peking University.

I specially looked for many other undergraduate and junior college dormitories to compare. Looking at a lot, not to mention undergraduate courses, many colleges or our high school dormitories are better than those of Peking University. I don't understand what this is all about. Dormitory is the main place for students to rest and should be better. This is not enjoyment. You can't always say enjoy. This has nothing to do with enjoyment. Think about it. Is there more room in bunk bed for bunk beds and long tables? The key to a large space is that the things students bring also have a place to put them, and they are comfortable to look at.

Here is a big picture of sleeping in the student dormitory. Let's compare the dormitory of Peking University again. Is it convenient to live in it? What are the advantages and disadvantages? I think everyone has their own steelyard. Here again, I'm definitely not talking about going to college to enjoy anything. It has nothing to do with enjoyment, and I don't want to be dark. Tsinghua of Peking University is the leader of domestic universities. How can it be said that it is black? I just want to give my opinion again, hoping that the leaders of Peking University can see it. Take a good look at other schools. Universities should not only look at academics, but also look at other aspects. I hope to improve students' accommodation environment properly, which I think will be of great benefit to both schools and students.

There are three kinds of dormitories, which can basically be evaluated. Good new buildings have indoor bathrooms, where you can take a bath. The mid-range dormitory has a large area and a place to store things (wardrobe). Poor old building, there is only room for four small tables with bookcases, and there is no wardrobe. This kind of dormitory is also the most (it is said that air conditioning will be given priority next year). Undergraduate students can't choose their own accommodation conditions, and they are assigned according to their majors. The condition of the big bathhouse is acceptable, the time is charged and the boiling water room is free! Hehe, it has a long history and many shortcomings. There are few new dormitories, no expansion and no new dormitories.

Take the 28th floor of Peking University Dormitory as an example:

First of all, I saw it on the 28th floor. This is a four-story dormitory building with the door facing east. Some dormitories on the lower floors have been completely emptied. Its internal structure is that there are two bunks on one side of the dormitory, four beds in total, the odd number is the lower berth and the even number is the upper berth; On the other side, there are four groups of desks (computer desks) side by side-each computer desk has two groups of desks, with a keyboard that can be pulled in and out, and a drawer. The bookshelf on the wall is connected with the desk, and there are two floors, each with a height of 40-50 cm. There is a locker at the top of the bookshelf, which is about 50-70cm deep and covers an area of nearly 1 m2. There is an open space (or corridor) between the bunk bed and the desk, which is about 2 meters wide and the dormitory is about 8~ 1 1 meter deep. The low-rise dormitory was installed with iron fence and painted with dark green paint. The dormitory is well lit, mostly east-west.

The walls of the dormitory are newly painted and the furniture is new. Outside the dormitory, the towering ginkgo trees are flourishing. In the breeze, the leaves fluttered and made a loud noise. In summer, the dormitory on the 28th floor is cool because of the shade. In winter, the leaves are falling, the sun is shining and the dormitory is warm. It's warm in winter and cool in summer. Because some undergraduates now live on the 28th floor, they see that the security of the building is very strict, and they need a key card to get in and out before they can pass through the access control system. The building manager's office is on the inside of the building door, guarding the main road in and out.

I walked out of the 28th floor and passed by the 29th floor. As the 29th floor is a girl's dormitory, I didn't go into the building to know the situation. The 29th floor is also located in the center of Yanyuan Garden, with the overall east-west direction and the north-south direction of the dormitory, to the west of the 28th floor, to the east of the 3 1 building and directly opposite to the 30th floor. Among the four most legendary dormitory buildings in Peking University, there are the prestigious sculptures of science and democracy in Peking University. As we all know, "scientific democracy is unproven, but it is actually the motto of Peking University". Every morning when I wake up from my dream, I can see the sign of "scientific democracy" through the windows on the 28th and 29th floors. For Peking University students, a sense of mission and self-motivation arises spontaneously.

Then go through the 35th floor, the canteen and the 44th floor, and directly reach the 45th floor, 46th floor, 47th floor and 48th floor of Peking University, which are the most concerned. Here, I see all the dormitory buildings have been replaced with brand-new white plastic steel doors and windows, shining in the sun. The 45th to 48th floors are all of the same structure, so I randomly selected Unit 2, 46th floor, Peking University Student Dormitory. In the corridor on the first floor, two kind and dignified building directors are checking the facilities in place one by one.

Then, I visited the dormitory. When talking about the dormitory house number, the building manager gave an authoritative explanation: the meaning of the four-digit house number is that the first place is the unit number-45 ~ 48 floors are all three units on each floor; The 2nd and 3rd digits are layer numbers, the first layer is 0 1 02, the second layer is 03,04, ..., and the sixth layer is 1 1,12; The last digit is the room number, the left-hand side (west) of the building is a double number, and the right-hand side is a single number. When talking about network facilities, the building management pointed out that each dormitory will have two internet access ports, so students living on the 45th floor to the 48th floor need to prepare their own hub if everyone has internet access needs.
