Relying on the "985 Phase III" innovative talent training project, the College is connected with world-class universities in terms of training concept and mode, specialty and curriculum, teaching methods and teaching staff, and comprehensively and deeply promotes the reform of talent training. Combined with the construction of two national bases, namely "National Basic Talents Training Base for Biological Sciences" and "National Talents Training Base for Life Sciences and Technology", and two characteristic majors of biotechnology and bioengineering of the Ministry of Education, according to the characteristics of biological talents training, the training modes of undergraduate and graduate students (six-year program) and undergraduate and graduate students (eight-year program) are tried out, emphasizing teaching students in accordance with their aptitude.
