Nanjing Normal University, referred to as "Nanjing Normal University", is located in Nanjing, the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties. It is a national "world-class discipline construction university" jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, and the first batch of key construction universities in the national "2 1 1 project".

General situation of disciplines

By March 2020, Nanjing Normal University had 1 national "double-first-class" construction disciplines, 6 national key disciplines, 3 national key (cultivation) disciplines, 10 dominant disciplines in universities in Jiangsu Province and 13 first-class disciplines in Jiangsu Province. In the fourth round of national discipline evaluation, 2 disciplines got A, 4 disciplines got A- and 5 disciplines got B+.
