Training objectives: This major trains students to master the basic theories and experimental methods of physics, have good mathematical foundation and experimental skills, and have received good applied research training, so as to become professionals who can engage in applied research, technology development, teaching and related management in the fields of physics and materials science and technology.
Training requirements: Master solid basic physics theory, systematic mathematics and computer knowledge, extensive basic knowledge, basic experimental methods and skills in the field of materials science, understand the development of materials science and related high-tech industries, and have the ability to use the knowledge and skills of physics and materials science for teaching, scientific research, technology development and corresponding management.
Main courses: advanced mathematics, general physics, theoretical physics, electronic circuits, structure and physical properties, material physics, solid state physics, modern analysis methods of materials, and mechanical drawing.
