General situation of Central Asia Agricultural Economy and Agricultural Products Trade Research Center

I. Main research directions

Central Asia Agricultural Economy and Agricultural Products Trade Research Center was established on June 5438+ 10, 2008, relying on the School of Economics and Management of Xinjiang Agricultural University. Based on the actual situation and demand of rural economy in Xinjiang, the research center has set up three research directions: the study of rural business entities, the study of agricultural products trade in Central Asia and the study of rural coordinated development, and investigated and studied the key issues that need to be solved urgently at present and need to be studied in the long-term development.

Second, the main research content

The main research directions of rural business entities are: research on specialized agricultural cooperatives with characteristics in Xinjiang, and research on the reform of management mode of settled herdsmen in Xinjiang.

The main research directions of agricultural products trade in Central Asia: vegetable (facility agriculture) foreign trade in Yili Valley, Xinjiang, and agricultural economic cooperation in Central Asia.

The main research contents of rural coordinated development include: the study of rural people's livelihood strategy in southern Xinjiang, the overall planning of new rural construction, the transfer of rural labor force and land circulation.

At present, the research center has professors 12, 22 associate professors and 5 doctors. These include:

There are 4 professors, 8 associate professors and 2 doctors in the research direction of rural business entities. The main academic leaders and backbones of this research direction are: Professor Zhu Meiling, Professor Chen Tong and Professor Nihemaiti.

There are 3 professors, 8 associate professors and doctors 1 person in the research direction of agricultural trade in Central Asia. The main academic leaders and backbones of this research direction are Professor Ma Huilan, Professor Liu Weizhong and Professor Xueyan Li.

There are 5 professors, 7 associate professors and 2 doctors in the research direction of rural coordinated development. The main academic leaders and backbones in this research direction are Pu Chunling and Professor Yang.
