In 2007, the history was changed to the national unified examination, and the proposition was unified by the Ministry of Education. The examination subjects are: politics, foreign languages and historical basis.

The historical basis covers four basic disciplines: ancient history of China, modern history of China, ancient history of the world and modern history of the world. The contents of historical theory and history, historical philology, historical geography and specialized history will be organically reflected in the above parts.
