First, public universities
Public universities can be divided into two categories, one is public universities and the other is royal universities. However, Thailand's supervision of schools is relatively loose. When choosing a school, we must focus on the qualifications of the school.
Most public universities are concentrated in developed big cities such as Bangkok and Chiang Mai. These schools will have no worries about the source of students, and because these schools are mainly domestic students, they will have higher requirements for overseas students.
The university founded by the royal family is the Royal University. At present, there are 76 universities in Thailand, which are distributed in 76 state capitals on average. School fees are low, mainly to meet the needs of students with general family circumstances.
Second, private universities.
Shi Lan University has a superior geographical location, a beautiful campus and strong teaching strength, and has unique advantages in business and media.
Yisancang University will be remote, but it is relatively difficult to graduate, but its major settings are complete and its campus environment is beautiful.
Manda's ace major is media, and Thai teaching is very strong, but English teaching is quite general, and the school will charge a lot of money when applying. It is often said that Manda's unreasonable charges are very serious.
Third, mode comparison.
Private schools implement small class teaching, sometimes less than 20 students in a class, which gives teachers and students more space and time to communicate with each other. However, there are many students and few teachers in public schools, and many courses are taught in large classes, sometimes as many as 300 people in a class.
Education in public schools is traditional and conservative, and the language environment is mainly Thai. Private schools are more open, mainly from diverse student backgrounds and foreign teachers. The international language environment is much better.
Private schools generally teach in English and students come from all over the world; Most public universities teach in Thai and take classes with Thai students. Applicants need to have a basic knowledge of Thai or take a preparatory course in Thai 1 year or longer, and can only be promoted to undergraduate after passing the Thai exam.
