Chongqing Institute of Mobile Communication (formerly Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications) was established in 2000. It is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education and headed by Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, and enrolls students nationwide.
The school has two campuses, Hechuan and Qijiang. Hechuan Campus is located in Hechuan University Town, an important strategic fulcrum city in Chongqing New Town. The campus is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with beautiful environment and convenient transportation. It is 40 minutes' drive from downtown Chongqing, and 5 minutes' drive from Hechuan Central Commercial Street and Jinyuecheng Business.
Qijiang Campus is located in the information security valley in the west of Chongqing's main urban new district-the new town in the east of Qijiang District. Surrounded by the towering ancient Jianshan and the beautiful Qijiang River, it is the most distinctive landscape university in China. It takes 40 minutes to drive to downtown Chongqing, and Qijiang East Station 15 minutes.
