I. Overview of work
In September, the main work of the Ministry of Literature and Art was a series of activities aimed at freshmen.
(1) One week before the start of school, our art department began the preparations for welcoming the new students. Through the meeting between teachers and the presidium, we have arranged the division of labor for the existing human resources. The main job of the Literature and Art Department is to assist teachers in all the preparations before freshmen enter school, including preparing freshman information packages (including: special welcome magazine, school emblem, admission instructions, etc. ) and the arrangement of the new dormitory. At the same time, for the freshmen who arrive at school in advance, we left the contact numbers of the main student cadres of our student union in the hospital office and the downstairs of the freshman dormitory.

One of the main tasks of the Arts Department is to help freshmen and their parents find class dormitories, so that they can complete the enrollment procedures of freshmen in the fastest time. The second is to receive parents, so that parents can see us again, and after accepting our services, they can safely hand over the students to us. The third is to answer a series of questions raised by parents. Generally speaking, our work has been affirmed by college teachers. We arrange different numbers of staff in each orientation place according to different flow of people to provide quality services for freshmen and parents.
(3) On the morning of August 3 1 0, some student cadres from the art department of our college attended the parents' meeting for freshmen, assisting teachers to complete a series of parents' reception work, and achieved certain results.
(4) In the first half of September, the Art Department of our Ministry undertook the military training and singing meeting for freshmen. Every night from 6: 00 to 8: 30, lead the freshmen of the whole hospital to have a singing activity in the ground downstairs of the experimental center. The Literature and Art Department of our college actively prepares nearly 10 military parade songs such as Unity is Strength, Red Flag Fluttering and Red Cross Team, and teaches them to freshmen, so that they can show their elegance in the military parade.
(5) In mid-September, our literature and art department held a series of activities for the welcome party. Including the programming and editing of freshmen and seniors. During the activity, all freshmen and seniors can actively participate, and this activity has also become a platform for freshmen to show themselves and exercise themselves.
(6) In mid-September, our art department held a chorus activity for the school's welcome party. The art department actively cooperated with Tian Xu, an experienced elder, and successfully completed the selection and training of choir members.
Two. Advantages and disadvantages in work
(1) The Ministry of Literature and Art is actively preparing for the orientation work. Ministers were able to overcome a series of natural factors, such as large temperature difference in the morning and evening, sudden gale, and various requirements of parents and students, and successfully completed the orientation work, which was well received. However, there are also some shortcomings-underestimating some possible accidents in the preparation for orientation. The specific manifestations are: insufficient preparation for the questions raised by freshmen's parents and freshmen; On the first day, there was an imbalance in the deployment of personnel to welcome new students (there was a short-term shortage of personnel when leading students to the dormitory, and the staff in the work area of the Literature and Art Department was complicated).
(2) At the reception for parents of freshmen held by the college, the staff can stand still for several hours, and it is not too cumbersome to introduce the college profile to parents. The shortcoming lies in underestimating the number of parents, and some parents take sides.
(3) The work of pulling songs in the Ministry of Literature and Art is the most arduous and tedious. Singing time is in the evening, and the climate is cold. Singing time is the class time of some members and even ministers. In late September, some members will take the National Computer Level 2 Examination, and ministers will also hand in papers and other materials. However, ministers can overcome various subjective and objective factors, actively organize freshmen's singing activities, and do it vividly, showing the elegance of freshmen in our college. The disadvantage is that the deployment of personnel is unscientific, and they often organize and plan together, which leads to hoarseness of department members and delays the command work. The members of the department are kind, and freshmen sometimes disobey the deployment.
(4) The Ministry of Literature and Art made detailed planning and screening for the program screening of the welcome party. Three rounds of screening prepared classic programs for the college, excavated a large number of talents, and laid a solid foundation for future work. Insufficient work is due to underestimation of the people involved in the plan, resulting in short-term confusion. The drafting time is inconsistent with the notification time, and the leader is waiting.
(5) Be able to actively plan and participate in the preparatory work for the school's welcome party chorus, and organize and mobilize the enthusiasm of new students. It is not enough to rely too much on Sister Tian Xu and not give full play to the role of the literary and art department.
(6) For our other work, we can cooperate with teachers and other departments of the student union to complete a series of work, which is not enough to pay attention to promoting ourselves and using the Internet to promote our student union. This should be paid attention to in future work. Of course, we should pay attention to the quality of uploaded content.
Three. Summary and prospect of the work of the Ministry of Literature and Art
(1) Strengthen the training and communication of the Literature and Art Department, and enhance the sense of identity and cohesion. Training and communication is an important means to improve the work efficiency and quality of all departments of the Student Union. At the same time, through various forms, it can also improve the centripetal force and cohesion, enhance the sense of responsibility, and improve the comprehensive quality of the members of the arts department of the student union.
(2) Promote the working mode of project management. Which ministries are responsible for the specific work, which ministries or other departments need to cooperate, should be considered when planning activities to avoid being caught off guard when the work is carried out.
(3) Strengthen the horizontal communication between departments. Through work cooperation and other means, members of various departments can get more opportunities for communication, thus promoting the harmony within the student union and improving the overall cohesion of the student union.
(4) The Art Department of the Student Union should develop the good habit of planning before activities and summarizing after activities. Find out the advantages and disadvantages through summary, and accumulate experience for future work.
(5) Pay attention to using the Internet to publicize our work, so that the teachers and students in the whole hospital can understand what we are doing. Show the elegance of our art department and publicize the greatness of our student union! For the work in September, we gained something and achieved our goal of working hard and improving. In the next work, we will sum up experience and lessons, innovate constantly, conscientiously complete every task assigned by the college and the student union, actively cooperate with other departments of the student union, and work hard for the brilliant future of the college!
