Wuhan Institute of Business and Technology (formerly School of Business and Technology, South-Central University for Nationalities), Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Wuhan University of Science and Technology and Wuhan Communications Vocational College have settled in Huangjiahu. In addition, Wuhan has also established Huangjiahu Wetland Park. The water area of Huangjiahu Lake is 85 1 hectare, and the coastline is more than 24,000 meters long. The first phase of Huangjiahu Wetland Park will be near the campuses of Wuhan Yangtze River Industrial and Commercial College, Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Wuhan University of Science and Technology, and along the coastline of 1.800 meters, a wetland park of 12 hectares will be built. Huangjiahu Hi-tech Park is the name of the development zone in the area where Huangjiahu University is located. It is the development focus of Wuhan and an excellent choice for science, education and leisure tourism. Baishazhou Avenue with two-way and six lanes has been built, equipped with standard green belts, bus lanes and sidewalks, as well as intercity express trains leading to Xianning. It is planned to start the construction of Metro Line 7 on 20 13, and the first phase of Metro Line 8 is expected to be completed on 20 17. The terminal of the second phase is located in Huangjiahu University Town. The estimated completion time has not been officially announced, and it is expected to be after 2020.
