UniversitéduQuébecàMontréal is the largest branch of the University of Quebec, located in the center of Montreal. It is mainly divided into two campuses, liberal arts in Berry -UQAM subway station and science in Art Square subway station. The campus is located between three subway stations in the city center.

Because this school is a French school, it has developed extremely rapidly, thanks to the allocation of Quebec government. The University of Quebec in Montreal is one of the only two French-speaking universities in Montreal, which is the dream of local high school students. By the autumn of 2005, the number of registered students was 56,679 (including LUQ Technical University).
