I. Yan 'an University
This school was founded by the people of China, the Ministry of Education and the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government. It is a pilot university of "Excellent Doctoral Education Training Plan", a key university in Shaanxi Province, a provincial-level university in Shaanxi Province, and a national cultural quality education base for college students. It is also the implementing institution of overseas training program for young backbone teachers of the National Fund for Studying Abroad and the receiving institution of China government scholarships for overseas students in China.
Yan 'an University was founded in September of 194 1 year, and its history can be traced back to the Northern Shaanxi Public School founded by 1937. 1941July, Northern Shaanxi Public College, China Women's University and Mao Zedong Youth Cadre School merged to form Yan 'an University, with Wu as the first president.
