School of Art and Design: Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Multimedia Design and Department of Electronics have passed IEET education certification.

The Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and the Department of Electronics in Fan Hua have passed the certification of China Engineering Education Association.

China Institute of Engineering Education (IEET) announced on1June 5438+1October 55438+05 that it had passed the "Engineering and Science and Technology Education Certification" for the 95 academic year. * * * 4 1 department passed, and the department of mechanical and electrical engineering and the department of electronic engineering of our school are also among them. The certification period is two years. When the news came, the teachers and students of the whole school were very excited. This was for the teachers and students of Department 2 of this school. Because the accreditation representative has reached the level, he can not only apply for exemption from the evaluation of the departments of the university during the accreditation period, but also represent that the graduates of the second department have been recognized by important international countries.

IEET pointed out that at present, 88 departments in China have passed this certification, accounting for about1/5 of domestic four-year engineering and science and technology education units;

IEET became an associate member of Washington Agreement, and the domestic department graduates who passed the certification were also recognized by the 10 member countries and four associate member countries of Washington Agreement, enjoying the same rights as local engineering graduates to apply for professional engineer licenses. Therefore, some top universities and departments that did not want to participate in the certification in the past are now willing to join.

IEET certification is mainly to help educational institutions develop towards internationalization and teaching excellence, to help parents and students choose high-quality educational institutions, employers and research institutions, and to recruit outstanding employees and graduate students. The key point of certification is to know whether the certified unit has reached the default educational goal, whether the graduates have certain professional core competence, whether the curriculum composition can achieve the educational goal and cultivate students' ability.
