Why don't college students do sales?
In the annual graduation season, 20 17 college graduates have stepped onto the social stage. There are nearly 8 million graduates this year. The huge figures reflect the heavy employment pressure, and the employment problem will once again pervade the motherland. In the face of huge employment pressure, what kind of job do college students prefer? The survey shows that nearly 60% of college students are unwilling to engage in sales work after graduation. Then, what are the reasons why such a high proportion of college students are unwilling to engage in sales work? Below we mainly analyze the reasons from three aspects:

First, the sales entry threshold is low and the professional differences are heavy. Many people's understanding of sales still stays at the level of simply promoting products. The traditional sales industry does not require high academic qualifications, and most of them are junior college or above. If you are very capable, you can enter the sales industry even with a high school education. Because of this, many college students usually disdain to engage in sales work. They feel that they are also highly educated. How can they work with a group of people who have not studied for a few years? !

Second, the pressure of sales work is great, and it is difficult to persist for a long time. The fundamental purpose of sales is to create demand, generate transactions, and thus achieve profitability. Therefore, many salespeople have great pressure on their performance and do a good job. If the work is not completed, it will have a great impact on performance pay. Now many college students are babies in the eyes of their parents. They have been taken care of since childhood and have never experienced any setbacks. Naturally, they can't stand selling this kind of "pressure cooker", let alone making a living in this line!

Third, there is not much room for sales growth, and the development of career change is limited. In a sales company, everything depends on performance. If you have performance, it is easy to get promoted. However, if you don't perform, you will be eliminated soon. Even if you are already in the position of manager, you still have to worry about the word performance. Don't think that you can have a good performance if you have enough experience. Don't think that you can compete with others when you are old. The team led by the team manager in 1995 and 1996 can turn you over and make you lose face in front of the leader. In addition, although sales are very tiring, it will be difficult for you to find something else to do when you are old, unless you are in management.
