Tianjin Normal University is the inheritor of the century-old normal education in Tianjin, the birthplace of basic education in Tianjin, and the only normal university in Tianjin that trains high-quality teachers for basic education. The school was founded in 1958, formerly known as Tianjin Normal University, and 1982 was renamed Tianjin Normal University. 65438-0999, the former Tianjin Normal University, Tianjin Normal College and Tianjin Institute of Education merged to form a new Tianjin Normal University.
