Evans Pritchard introduced
Evans prichard, a British social anthropologist, is a professor at Oxford University. It inherits Radcliffe Brown's structural and functional theory and develops the functional anthropology of dynamic equilibrium theory in social anthropology. His book Noor (1940), written through the field investigation of Noor anthropology, has become a classic of structural anthropology. His most important contribution is to point out the fission branch of kinship system, and the study of primitive cognition has also become the starting point of many anthropological follow-up studies.
