HangzhouDianziUniversity, referred to as "Hangdian", located in Hangzhou, is a teaching and research university jointly established by the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government and the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense. It is one of the first five key universities in Zhejiang Province and the only one with national defense characteristics among provincial universities.

3. Zhejiang University of Technology is located in Hangzhou. Zhejiang A&F University (Zhejiang A&; F University), referred to as "Zhejiang Agriculture and Forestry University", is a university approved by the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government and the State Forestry and Grassland Bureau, and is a key university in Zhejiang Province.
