Growth history:1On March 9, 996, Shandong University Institute of Property Rights was established. In the first few years, important achievements were made in the fields of property rights theory and institutional economics. On June 38, 2006, after the merger and reorganization, Shandong University was reorganized and expanded into an economic research institute (center) based on property rights through the integration of teachers and disciplines, making it an independent institution and a college-level scientific research and postgraduate training institution directly under the university.
Establishment of institutions or academic platforms: Economic Research Institute now has property rights research institute, financial theory and financial engineering research institute, legal economics research institute, econometrics research institute, employment and social security research institute, international economics research institute, actuarial research institute, new economic history and economic history research laboratory, economic cycle and economic growth theory research laboratory, three rural issues research laboratory, language economics research laboratory, educational economics research laboratory, etc. Property right theory, law and economics are the key disciplines or platforms of "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Project".
He founded two academic magazines: Research on Institutional Economics (edited by Huang Shaoan) and Journal of Graduate Economics of Shandong University (bimonthly). The annual "China Law and Economics Forum" jointly organized with the School of Economics of Zhejiang University has been successfully held for six times, and its influence is increasing day by day; "Shanda Economics Forum"-provides a forum for young scholars at the forefront of academic research at home and abroad to preach their innovative ideas all the year round, whether in name or in name.
