A Review of The Beginning of Great Rejuvenation

I had the same confusion and resentment as the post-80s generation. Confused public opinion says that we are a "beat generation", and we resent the many pressures that this era has given the post-80 s living space, such as studying, working and getting married. However, after watching the film "The Beginning of the Great Rejuvenation" to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), I suddenly have a new view of myself and everything around me. I can't help asking myself: Is this era really mistreating us? We really benefited a lot from it. We once had the same confusion and resentment as our peers in the 1980s. Confused public opinion says that we are a "beat generation" and resents the pressure that this era has brought to the living space of the post-80s, such as exams, work, marriage, entrepreneurship and so on. However, after watching the film "The Beginning of the Great Rejuvenation" to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), I suddenly have a new view of myself and everything around me. I can't help asking myself: Is this era really mistreating us? How much did we really get from it and how much did we pay?

Most of us are used to living in peacetime, doing what we like, pursuing a more colorful and diversified life and striving for colorful dreams. Compared with that era when people were bullied by foreign powers and suffered from war, we don't have to leave our homes and starve. At least we have a quiet life, the right to pursue our dreams and the possibility to realize them, so we are still happy.

Of course, we will also fail and encounter injustice on the road to our dreams and success, but compared with the blood and lives of those revolutionary pioneers, it is insignificant and insignificant, because we still have more opportunities to try again until we get the joy of success. What the revolutionary martyrs have is the firm belief of advancing wave after wave, and the trust entrusted to comrades to let this belief continue to be passed down. Most of them have not even seen the dawn of success. Compared with them, we are still happy.

Nowadays, many people often talk about happiness index, or complain about their poor happiness, or complain that the overall happiness index of the country is not as good as that of some developed countries. I didn't know that the developed countries such as the United States, Britain, the Netherlands and Japan only began to study the happiness index in recent years. Compared with the old society, whether we are happy today is not a kind of happiness in itself. What's more, our party and country have always put people's livelihood in the first place, put forward the great goal of building a harmonious society, and put it into practice vigorously. The happiness index has gradually become a new pursuit of local governments on the road to improving people's livelihood.

In a sense, in the past 30 years of reform and opening up, China people have felt more influenced by western material culture. Compared with before liberation, everyone's desire to pursue a happy life has not changed, but the spiritual belief of fighting and paying for it is lacking. We often don't know whether we are blessed or not, and we will feel more miserable, confused and aimless, and ignore my contribution to this society. Perhaps it is as the ancient poem says: I don't know the true face of Lushan Mountain, but I am only in this mountain. Perhaps because the country's economic development is in a transitional period, it will feel pain from top to bottom, which will temporarily reduce the feeling of happiness, but it is not too late to wake up from this moment, and we still have a good time to create a beautiful and happy future with our hands.

"The Beginning of the Great Rejuvenation" made me relive the pure faith of the revolutionary ancestors, and the powerful spiritual power of sacrificing everything to realize my ideals purified my mind again. There is no reason for us to live happily and unhappily for the sake of the peaceful life that our predecessors exchanged with blood and life, for the sake of realizing our own life value and for the bright future of future generations. From now on, let us shoulder the responsibility and mission entrusted to our generation by history, and jointly create a harmonious and happy beautiful home with an initial down-to-earth attitude, so as to build our motherland stronger.
