Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, which is the key construction of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the first batch of "2 1 1 project" was built. It is also a key university under the project of "985 Advantage Discipline Innovation Platform". It is a multi-disciplinary research university characterized by information technology, focusing on engineering, and coordinating the development of production, management, literature and science. School information and communication engineering, computer science and technology, electronic science and technology were rated as Class A disciplines in the fourth round of discipline evaluation by the Ministry of Education, among which information and communication engineering achieved excellent results of A+.
At present, the school has a team of teachers with academicians of China Academy of Sciences, China Academy of Engineering, foreign academicians, winners of national major talent projects or talent projects, winners of national and provincial teacher awards, and experts enjoying special government allowances as the backbone.
