Shangrao Teachers College, formerly known as Shangrao Teachers College, was established in June 1958. 1959, Shangrao Teachers College and Shangrao Vocational and Technical College merged and reorganized into Northeast Jiangxi University. 1978 With the approval of the State Council, Shangrao Teachers College reopened. In March 2000, Shangrao Teachers College was established with the approval of the Ministry of Education and the Jiangxi Provincial Government. Shangrao Teachers College is located in Shangrao City at the junction of Fujian, Zhejiang, Jiangxi and Anhui provinces. Located at the south foot of Shangrao concentration camp, it is close to zhejiang-jiangxi railway, Hengnan Railway, Shanghai-Kunming-expressway and National Highway 320. Journal of Shangrao Teachers College (Social Science Edition) has been rated as the "Double Top Ten" journals of liberal arts, the top 100 journals of social sciences and the core journals of humanities and social sciences in China. The natural science edition has been included in the China Mathematics Digest and Chinese Physics Digest, and entered CERNET. Zhuzi, published jointly with the Institute of History of China Academy of Social Sciences, enjoys a high reputation at home and abroad, and Zhuzi research is listed as a key research base for humanities and social sciences in Jiangxi Province.
