What colleges does Yangtze University include now?
Yangtze University was founded in 2003, located in Jingzhou City, Hubei Province. It is a comprehensive university with the most comprehensive disciplines among colleges and universities in Hubei Province, a key university in Hubei Province and a "double-class" construction university in Hubei Province.

It is formed by the merger of Jianghan Petroleum College, Hubei Agricultural College, Jingzhou Normal College and Hubei Medical College of Health Workers. This school has been selected as the national "Basic Capacity Building Project for Colleges and Universities in the Midwest", and it is a pilot university of the Ministry of Education's outstanding engineer education and training program, outstanding agricultural and forestry talents education and training program, and outstanding doctoral education and training program. It is a university jointly established by Hubei Provincial People's Government, China Petroleum and Natural Gas Group, China Petrochemical Group, China Offshore Oil Corporation and the Ministry of Agriculture.
