According to information from official website of Cangzhou Education Bureau, as of 2023, there are three colleges and universities in Cangzhou: Cangzhou Normal University, Hebei University of Water Resources and Electric Power and Cangzhou Jiaotong University, all of which are application-oriented colleges and universities focusing on education.
