When and how was the first Gui Jiang Bridge built in Wuzhou, Guangxi, and when was the pontoon bridge demolished?
Gui Jiang No.1 Bridge was built in 1969 and has been in use for more than 30 years. August, 2003 10, a major transformation was carried out, from two-way to one-way street.

1October 24th, 1966, 10, Gui Jiang No.1 Bridge (Wuzhou Bridge) started construction.

In the early 1960s, in order to widen the University Road, Ma Mansion and memorial archway were demolished. 1969, after the completion of the first Gui Jiang Bridge (Wuzhou Bridge), Daxue Road was rebuilt. There is a cement concrete road from the west bridge head of Gui Jiang No.1 Bridge to the front of Wuzhou Military Division. From 65438 to 0978, the concrete road from Jianjun District to Wuzhou No.1 Middle School began. Since 1980s, Daxue Road has been expanded and a section from No.1 Middle School to Bubuli Road has been built. Since then, Daxue Road has become the main road connecting the east and west of Wuzhou, and a garden turntable has been built at the intersection in front of the military division. Yuanjiang Bridge in the south, Gui Jiang Second Bridge, Zizhu Bridge and lianhua bridge in the north, Xijiang Bridge in the west and Yunlong Bridge in the east.
