Brief Introduction of Taizhou University Linhai Campus
Linhai Campus of Taizhou College, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province is affiliated to Taizhou College and is one of the branches of Taizhou College. Another branch of Taizhou University (Jiaojiang Campus) is located in Taizhou City. Linhai Campus is a school of mathematics and information engineering under Taizhou University. The department has 3 1 full-time teachers. Among the teachers, there are 3 professors, 0/3 associate professors and 0/0 lecturers. 3 doctors, 13 masters. The structure of teachers' professional titles, ages and academic qualifications is becoming more and more reasonable, and a team of teachers with rich teaching experience and high academic level has taken shape. The major of mathematics and applied mathematics in this department is the key construction major at the school level, the major of basic mathematics is the key supporting discipline at the school level, and the major of mathematics and applied mathematics is the key major at the school level. The department consists of two teaching institutions, namely, the Department of Basic Mathematics and the Department of Advanced Mathematics, and two research institutions, namely, the Mathematics Research Office and the Mathematics Education Research Office. At the same time, the department has a mathematical modeling laboratory for college students. There are currently 480 students. In recent years, all teachers have published more than 100 papers in academic journals such as Mathematical Journal and advances in mathematics. Presided over and completed more than a dozen scientific research projects initiated by the provincial education department and other departments. The mathematical modeling competition for college students in charge of the department of mathematics has achieved remarkable results, and many teams have won the first and second prizes in the country. Students have made remarkable achievements in postgraduate entrance examination, and many graduates have been admitted to national or provincial key universities to pursue master's degrees. Undergraduate majors include mathematics and applied mathematics.
