Chapter I General Provisions
Article 1 According to the Education Law of the People's Republic of China, the Higher Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Regulations on Enrollment of the Ministry of Education, these Articles of Association are formulated in combination with the actual situation of the school in order to standardize enrollment, improve the quality of students and ensure the smooth enrollment of schools.
Article 2 The name of the school is Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, and the school code is11846; At present, there are three campuses, of which the north campus and the south campus are used for full-time undergraduate education; The North Campus is located at No.2 North Baiyun Avenue, Baiyun District, Guangzhou, and the South Campus is located at No.0/78 Outer Ring East Road, Guangzhou University Town, Xiaoguwei Island, Panyu District, Guangzhou.
Article 3 Guangdong University of Foreign Studies is a public, full-time general undergraduate college that is under key construction in Guangdong Province.
Chapter II Organizational Structure
Article 4 A school shall set up an enrollment leading group composed of the principal in charge, the secretary of the Disciplinary Committee and relevant responsible persons to lead the enrollment of full-time undergraduates in the school and deal with major problems encountered in the enrollment work.
Article 5 The Admissions Office shall be responsible for the organization and coordination of full-time undergraduate enrollment under the leadership of the school enrollment leading group.
Article 6 The discipline inspection and supervision department shall supervise and inspect all kinds of enrollment work, assist the leading group of enrollment work in schools to maintain enrollment discipline and ensure the smooth enrollment work.
Chapter III Enrollment Conditions
Seventh in accordance with the Ministry of Education promulgated the "Notice of the Ministry of Education on Doing a Good Job in the Enrollment of Ordinary Colleges and Universities in 2009" and the spirit of related documents.
Chapter IV Access Rules
Article 8 According to the Notice of the Ministry of Education on Doing a Good Job in Enrollment of Ordinary Colleges and Universities in 2009 and the Regulations on the Administration of Full-time Undergraduate Enrollment of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies promulgated by the Ministry of Education, according to the principles of openness, fairness, impartiality and high marks, merit-based admission is based on grades and professional volunteers, and the ratio of male to female is given due consideration; Candidates who meet the school admission conditions but fail to meet the reported professional admission conditions and are willing to obey the professional adjustment can adjust their admission. Candidates who do not obey the voluntary adjustment will not be admitted.
Article 9 According to the specialty and school-running characteristics of our university, English is required as the examination language in the college entrance examination.
Tenth meet one of the following conditions, in the case of the same or similar grades, priority admission.
1. Students who have won the titles of "three excellent students", "excellent party member", "excellent league members" and "excellent student cadres" at or above the provincial, autonomous region and municipal level in high school;
2. Students who have won the second prize (inclusive) in the provincial-level division of the National Middle School Students' Subject Olympic Competition;
3. Students with sports expertise or literary expertise;

Article 11 Candidates applying for foreign language majors, diplomacy, international business (English teaching), education (English education), translation, international economy and trade, teaching Chinese as a foreign language, law (international economic law), law (intellectual property law), international politics, etc. shall take the oral English test organized by provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government (except that the admissions departments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government do not organize oral English tests.
Twelfth candidates with a total score of files, such as excellent performance in related subjects, can be given due consideration to their voluntary admission to this major.
Thirteenth priority is given to candidates on the first volunteer line; According to the relevant regulations on recruiting candidates with high scores in various provinces, an appropriate number of non-first-choice online candidates will be selected; The provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government that implement parallel volunteer shall refer to the relevant policies and regulations of the provincial recruitment office.
Fourteenth candidates who enjoy the admission policy of adding points or reducing points will be promoted according to the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education and provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, but adding points when arranging majors is for reference only. If the same candidate meets multiple bonus points, only the highest score will be counted.
Fifteenth admission principles of art majors
1. The scores of professional cultural courses and technical courses not specified shall be marked by the provinces themselves.
2. In principle, the major of broadcasting and hosting and Music Performance only accepts the short-listed candidates who take the technical examination organized by our school separately; According to the situation of students, adjust the enrollment plans of each province and select the best candidates.
Sixteenth physical examination in accordance with the Ministry of education, the Ministry of health, the China Disabled Persons' Federation issued the "Guiding Opinions on Physical Examination of Enrollment in Colleges and Universities"; To apply for art majors, it is required that the pronunciation and respiratory organs are free from diseases, color blindness and night blindness; To apply for foreign language and literature majors, it is required that the phonetic and auditory organs are free from defects.
Seventeenth students, small languages (non-common languages) in advance enrollment according to the relevant provisions of the Ministry of Education and the school enrollment brochures separately.
Eighteenth candidates in Jiangsu Province, the general professional level is AB, and the required subject level is 4C. Candidates who enter the file are admitted according to the principle of "score first, then score".
Chapter V Charging Standards and Others
Article 19 Tuition fees: according to categories, art majors are 6000 ~ 10000 yuan/student/school year, literature, history, finance and management majors are 4 180 yuan/student/school year, and foreign languages and science majors are 4730 yuan/student/school year (implementation documents: Guangdong Provincial Price Bureau, Guangdong Provincial Department of Education and Guangdong Provincial Department of Finance) Accommodation fee: 500~ 1500 yuan/student/school year in the north campus, and 1700 yuan/student/school year in the south campus, depending on the accommodation conditions. If the above charging standards are adjusted, they shall be subject to the approval of Guangdong Provincial Price Bureau.
Article 20 Measures for subsidizing students from poor families
1. National student loan: Students with special financial difficulties can apply for national student loan.
3. Difficult subsidies and deferred payment of tuition fees: Students with special financial difficulties can apply for one-time difficult subsidies or deferred payment of tuition fees with valid certificates.
13. Social grants: Many social organizations or individuals who are enthusiastic about public welfare have set up grants in our school, and a considerable number of students from poor families receive grants every year.
4. Work-study program: The school has established a series of on-campus and off-campus work-study programs, and students can use their spare time to solve part of their living expenses through work-study programs.
Twenty-first schools set up a freshman scholarship, the maximum amount of which is exempt from four years of school tuition.

Article 23 According to the Interim Provisions on the Management of Undergraduate Student Status of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, the graduation certificate of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies will be issued to qualified graduates. Graduates who meet the conditions for degree granting will be awarded a bachelor's degree from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and a degree certificate.
Article 24 According to the layout of the school campus, freshmen of grade 2009 are arranged to study in the North Campus: English Language and Culture College, International Business English College, Finance and Economics College, Western Language and Culture College, Oriental Language and Culture College, China Language and Culture College and Advanced Translation College; The south campus includes: School of International Economics and Trade, School of International Business Administration, School of Law, School of English Education, School of Information Science and Technology, School of Politics and Public Administration, School of Journalism and Communication, and School of Art. ..
