Introduction of Law School of Xinjiang University
Law school is the first college established since Xinjiang University implemented the bipolar management of schools and colleges. Xinjiang University 1980 established the Law Department, and in April 2006, 5438+0 established the Law School. After more than 30 years' development, the law school now has two general undergraduate majors (law and intellectual property), one-level discipline of law 1 master's degree program, and six master's degree programs in two disciplines of law (international law, legal theory, legal history, civil and commercial law, constitution and administrative law, criminal law) 1 master's degree program (JM). There are 7 teaching and research centers, the training base for western grassroots legal talents of the Ministry of Education 1, the training base for national intellectual property rights (Xinjiang) 1, the key research base for humanities and social sciences in colleges and universities of the autonomous region (research base for legal protection of stability and regional economic development in Xinjiang), and the comparative law between China and Central Asian countries, ethnic religion and legal system construction, regional terrorism and criminology, and western economic environment and legal system construction. There are more than 6,000 volumes of books/kloc-0, hundreds of professional academic journals, more than 3,200 bound journals, 5 current journals1/kloc-0, and 45 NPC newspapers and periodicals. The faculty of law school is abundant, with 64 full-time teachers, including 40 full-time and associate professors, 19 teachers with doctoral degrees, 15 teachers with master's degrees and 9 doctors. Teachers with master's degree or above account for 54% of all teachers; Teachers with senior titles account for 6 1.9% of the total number of teachers, and undertake the teaching tasks of more than 1,000 students of all kinds in the hospital and the scientific research tasks of the college.
