How should universities in China be reformed?
One is the paradox in China's current university reform. As we all know, China's university reform emphasizes academic freedom, but academics cannot be free. Universities emphasize autonomy, but they can't. Under the intervention of the government, universities have to be inextricably linked with the government that controls and restricts them. Universities should be administratively managed, but they can't get away with it. What is the reason? This forces us to think about how to reform China University. Second, I am interested in theoretical research. People who know me may know that my main interests or fields of study are the basic theory of educational management, educational policies and regulations, educational administration and educational efficiency. Studying educational theory is an important field of my research. If we say that the theoretical issues I studied some time ago mainly focused on the activities, systems, mechanisms, ideas and theoretical issues of human nature of China's educational reform and their relationship from the macro level, we should now focus on the theoretical issues of a certain field such as university reform. It is necessary to find out what is the theory of China's university reform and what is the deepest theoretical problem that affects China's university reform.
