The National College Practical English Test (PRETCO), referred to as English Proficiency Test, is divided into two levels: AB. Grade B is the minimum standard requirement for students in higher vocational colleges.

The B-level standard is slightly lower than the A-level, which is a transitional requirement. The ability requirement of AB level is equivalent to CET-3 level, and the exam is generally in June of the first half of the year and June 65438+February of the second half of the year (the second day of CET-4 and CET-6).

College practical English test (PRETCO) is a national teaching test for higher vocational colleges approved by the Ministry of Education. This test is based on Basic Requirements for English Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges, and tests language knowledge and skills. Both the general language content and the application content related to foreign-related business are tested. It is divided into Grade A and Grade B, and Grade B with a score of 60 or above is a pass; 85 or above is excellent. Those who pass the exam will be issued with the corresponding certificate of Practical English Test for Colleges and Universities.
