In July, 1925, with the consent of the American board of directors, Ms. Cheng resigned as the principal. The board of directors of the college appointed Dr. Ida Bell Lewis as the president.
1In July and August, 927, in the voice of China's movement against Christianity's right to education, Dr. Rued and Miss Ethel Wallace resigned as principals and provosts respectively. The board of directors of the college is going to hire Chen Shugui as the dean and Wang Shijing as the provost, but Chen Shugui declined politely. So the school board decided to set up a five-member school board, with Chen Shugui as the chairman, Wang Shijing as the provost, Li as the accountant, Huang as the principal of the affiliated middle school, Huang as the secretary, and Lu Aide and Hua Huide as the advisers of the school board.

The China Federation of Missionary Schools allocated 50,000 yuan to Nanhua University to rebuild Shi Peng Building.

1951April, faculty adjustment, South China Women's College of Arts and Sciences merged with Fujian Christian University to form Fuzhou University.
