After studying in South China Women's College of Arts and Sciences for two years, Wang Shijing transferred to Morningside College in the United States for further study. She did well in her studies and then went to the University of Michigan to study for a master's degree. The China Federation of Missionary Schools allocated 50,000 yuan to Nanhua University to rebuild Shi Peng Building.

1951April, faculty adjustment, South China Women's College of Arts and Sciences merged with Fujian Christian University to form Fuzhou University.
