1. Yanbian University is a comprehensive university in Jilin Province, China. Founded in 1949, its predecessor was Yanji Normal School in Jilin Province, which was founded in 1946. In 2000, Jilin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine merged with Yanbian University to form today's Yanbian University. The school is located in Yanji City, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province. It is the only full-time undergraduate college in China that relies on fresh culture.
2. Yanbian University is divided into Yanbian University, Yanbian Medical College, Yanbian Agricultural College and Yanbian Institute of Technology. 65438-0996 The former Yanbian University, Yanbian Medical College, Yanbian Agricultural College, Yanbian Normal College and Yanbian Branch of Jilin Art College merged to form a new Yanbian University. In September of the same year, Yanbian University of Science and Technology merged into Yanbian University.
