The American Federation of International Business Schools was initiated by the management schools of famous universities such as Harvard, Chicago and Northwest China, and was formally established on 19 16. AACSB is an unofficial, non-profit non-governmental organization, which consists of business schools, associations and other institutions. It has been committed to improving and promoting the education level in the field of business administration and accounting, and is the primary certification institution for bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree courses in business administration and accounting. It is the only authoritative organization in the United States that has the right to evaluate business administration and accounting, representing the highest achievement of business schools all over the world. Accredited business schools are also considered to be first-class business schools in teaching quality. To obtain AACSB certification, business schools must meet the following conditions: (1) allocate resources according to the constantly adjusting mission; Teachers have advanced business and management knowledge; Provide high-quality teaching and cutting-edge curriculum system; Encourage teacher-student interaction; The trained graduates reach the established learning goals.

Because of the authority of AACSB, many foreign business schools, except those in the United States, also strive to pass its audit. As of September 2005, 506 member institutions (76 non-American institutions) have been certified by the American Federation of International Business Schools, of which 167 have been certified as accounting professionals. For example, on June 5438+ 10, 2002, American international universities in the East and West passed the certification of AACSB (American International Business School Management Association), becoming one of thousands of universities in the United States, gaining the same status as world-renowned universities such as Harvard and Yale, and their credits can be mutually recognized and transferred. It is understood that among the international MBA held in China, only four or five foreign universities have been recognized by AACSB.
