And DUSCF, isn't it Dipl University of Basic Science of Technology.
Du: Dipl? My college
DEUST:Dipl? Master of Science and Technology Studies in University
DUT: Diploma? Technical university
License: Bachelor's degree.
Basically, the French don't care about these detailed diplomas. BAC+ is more common.
First of all, Du does not mean a college diploma, but a national diploma. Du is called because these are all diplomas that universities have the right to issue, such as bachelor's degree Bac+3, master's degree Bac+5 and doctor's degree Bac+8. All you have listed are DUs, and almost all of them can be counted as DUs except the engineer diploma.
DUSCF is for foreigners. After learning a language for one year, you can enter IUT directly without applying. Generally speaking, it is open to foreigners who take projects. After graduation, you can get a domestic degree and a DUT Bac+ 1 degree. Of course, you can choose to continue to get the diploma of DUT Bac+2 or L2 Bac+2.
DUT is a two-year degree, equivalent to the second year of undergraduate course. But I think I have an advantage in the second year of undergraduate course and I am looking for a job. You can choose to find a job or continue studying after graduation. If you study, you can choose to study as an engineer and get an engineer's degree Bac+5 after three years, or continue to study for a science degree and get a bachelor's degree license Bac+3 or an applied bachelor's degree license pro Bac+3 after one year. Therefore, reading DUT is more flexible than reading license directly, and the degree of DUT is more difficult than the second level of license.
The license is a bachelor's degree, which is studied in different years. You can study in Paris with L 1, or you can apply for another school in L2. You need to apply every year, so there are L 1, L2 and L3. L 1 is Bac+ 1, and the corresponding L3 is Bac+3. L3 is divided into L3 pro and L3, and L2 can be selected after graduation. The two branches of L3 are also open to DUT, so you don't have to worry.
DEUST can be regarded as a kind of advanced degree, which is generally a supplementary degree for people who already have other degrees and jobs.
As far as internship is concerned, the same Bac level and internship time are basically the same. There is not much difference between research and application, and between different degrees. If it is a research-oriented major, that is, undergraduate or master's degree, the internship is generally in the laboratory. If it is part of the application class, that is, DUT and De Huste, they will generally choose to go to the factory for internship.
Of course, I don't deny that most China people who study DUT also practice in the laboratory, which is mainly related to their language ability, so it is difficult to enter the factory. Most high school or university students from China 1 and Grade 2 choose to study IUT. One reason is that IUT wants to have an advantage over L2, and the other reason is that there is no time limit for IUT to join.
In terms of courses, the main reason why IUT courses are attended by enterprise personnel is that DUT itself is an applied degree, and all courses of applied degrees are attended by some enterprise personnel. For research, there will be CNRS, that is, professors of the French Academy of Sciences. In fact, the choice of research or application depends entirely on personal temperament and habits, and there is no distinction between up and down. Research majors are good at research, while application majors are easy to find jobs.
I have been in France for four years with a master's degree in application and a master's degree in research. I have also been in engineering school, and now I am studying for a doctorate. These diplomas may not be suitable except DEUST, but they are not much different. Don't worry too much about these names. You can get any one.
The French exam is very, very difficult. You can graduate with an average score of 50 points in all courses. Even so, the graduation rate in France is very, very low in Europe, especially after you enter L2, so you should be prepared for it.
