Recommendation of key technologies for design and construction of inclined shaft of extra-long highway tunnel

Inclined shaft ventilation is mostly used in extra-long highway tunnels in China, which is still in the exploration stage because of its complicated design and construction. This paper analyzes some cases of inclined shaft design and construction in China, and probes into some key technologies in inclined shaft design and construction, such as inclined shaft scheme formulation, section design and excavation method.
