Southwest University of Political Science and Law is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the Chongqing Municipal People's Government. It is the earliest institution of higher learning of political science and law in New China, the first batch of national key universities, the first batch of national excellent legal talents education and training plan bases, the first batch of national college students' cultural quality education bases, and the recipient institution of China government scholarships for international students in China.
