Local applicants must have the same academic qualifications as local students. Non-local applicants should pay attention to the specific admission requirements of individual colleges and Chinese opera course offices.
Some subjects can be replaced by audio and/or video tapes. If the applicant's mother tongue is not English, he must also submit the results of public English tests such as TOEFL or IELTS when submitting the application form, so that the college can identify his English ability.
Applicants should apply for admission as soon as possible in order to arrange exams or submit relevant audio/video tapes.
Admission requirements
The applicant's national unified college entrance examination score must reach the "two lines" of the province and city where he is located; And the college entrance examination English single subject score is above 90; or
Complete at least 12 years of full-time primary and secondary school courses and obtain a high school diploma; and
Applicants must reach the diploma level of their elective subjects; and
Satisfactory results have been achieved in the English proficiency test in our college, or equivalent results or academic qualifications have been achieved in English tests such as TOEFL (paper and pencil test 500, Internet test 6 1) or IELTS (Grade 5).

The Academy for Performing Arts can admit up to 150 non-local students from the Mainland and other regions.

As far as I know, the Leslie Cheung Memorial Scholarship is awarded to students with excellent academic performance and/or financial difficulties. Both local and non-local students have a chance to win the prize.
