The College of International Business and Economics (WTU) of wuhan textile University, located in Wuhan, Hubei Province, is an independent college integrating engineering, arts, economics and management and art, which was jointly established by wuhan textile University and Midland Times Education Development Co., Ltd. with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2002. It is also a full-time ordinary college with the right to award bachelor's degrees.

History of running a school
The College of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of wuhan textile University was formerly Hubei Foreign Trade School. 1At the end of 958, 1 1 personnel suitable for teaching were transferred to run schools in the form of foreign trade specialized courses. In September, students were enrolled 1959, 150, with a schooling period of 3 years.
In September 196 1, 50 students were enrolled, and the length of schooling 1 year (crash course) was borrowed from the school buildings of Hubei Bank School and Wuhan Commercial School. By June 1962, due to the difficult period of the country, the borrowed school could not continue to accommodate it, and this kind of running in the form of professional courses was interrupted.
At the beginning of 1964, Hubei Foreign Trade Bureau recalled five comrades who had originally run a foreign trade professional class, and Comrade Chen was in charge to form a team to prepare for the establishment of the school.
In June 1965, 1 1, the third phase enrolled 58 students. The students enrolled in the third phase are all high school and junior high school graduates in the province. After passing the examination, they are assigned to work in the foreign trade system of Hubei Province after graduation.
