What does a research assistant do?

Scientific research assistants in colleges and universities refer to those who are engaged in project research, experimental (engineering) technology and scientific research assistants according to the needs of undertaking scientific research tasks and the long-term development of science and technology in schools, and are an important part of the full-time scientific research team in schools.

2, colleges and universities should closely combine with the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the National Natural Science Foundation of China "on encouraging scientific research project units to absorb and stabilize the employment of college graduates" (Guo Ke Fortune [2009] No.97) spirit, and actively attract outstanding graduates as research assistants to participate in the school's scientific research work. Colleges and universities should continue to deepen the reform of internal scientific research system and employment mechanism, explore the establishment of scientific research system and employment mechanism in line with the development laws and requirements of modern universities, and gradually establish a full-time scientific research team with moderate scale, reasonable structure and stable flow in practice.
