MEM financial engineering class project of School of Economics and Finance, South China University of Technology, is dedicated to cultivating financial application-oriented and compound high-end talents with good ideological and political quality and professional ethics, solid and systematic engineering management theory, basic theory, professional knowledge and methods in the field of financial engineering, independently undertaking financial complex engineering management and solving management problems in financial practice, and innovative thinking and excellent management ability.

The project fully integrates the high-quality teaching forces of engineering management, finance, computer and other majors in South China University of Technology to teach. In the course design, combined with the latest development of financial technology and financial engineering, high-quality courses are set up, including big data, artificial intelligence, financial engineering and other courses. In terms of practical application, the course conducts special study according to the particularity of the domestic market, invites industry elites to teach, and discusses how to apply the knowledge learned in the class to the financial practice in China.
