Brief introduction of Shanghai Customs College
I. Historical evolution
Shanghai Customs College was formerly known as Shanghai Customs School, which was established in 1953. 1980 was approved by the State Council and upgraded to Shanghai Customs College; 1996 changed its name to Shanghai Customs College. In March 2007, the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of Shanghai Customs College on the basis of Shanghai Customs College. In May, 20 18, it was approved as a master's degree awarding unit, and at the same time, it was approved as two master's degree authorization points of public administration and taxation. In the same year, the customs management major became the PICARD standard certification major of the World Customs Organization.
Second, the department setting
The school consists of eight colleges (departments): School of Customs and Public Administration, School of Customs and Public Economics, School of Business Administration and Customs Affairs, Department of Customs Law, Department of Foreign Languages Department of Customs, Department of Public Education, School of Marxism and Department of Inspection and Quarantine Technology Exchange. It has set up eight undergraduate majors in customs management, administrative management, logistics management, international business, taxation, economic statistics, law and English, and two professional degree programs in public administration and taxation, which belong to four disciplines: management, economics, law and literature.

International exchange: the school has academic exchanges with Vietnam, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, the United States, the Netherlands, Venezuela, North Korea, Central Asian countries, African countries, the United Nations Environment Programme, the World Customs Organization, the World Trade Organization, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Hong Kong, Macao and other regional or international organizations.
