The University of Chinese Academy of Sciences is referred to as "National University of Science and Technology", and its main campus is located in Beijing. It is an innovative university with the integration of science and education as its running mode and postgraduate education as its main body. It is a national "double-first-class" university, selected as the "Pilot Program for Training Top-notch Students in Basic Subjects", a member of the Pacific Rim University Alliance, the Beijing-Hong Kong University Alliance, the China University Planetary Science Alliance and the China-Europe Business School Alliance, and the first batch of independent degree authorization audit units.
The school was formerly the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Sciences, with pilot program 1963. The Graduate School of the Chinese University of Science and Technology was formally established 1978. It is the first graduate school in New China approved by the State Council, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. 1982, China Academy of Sciences approved the use of the names of graduate schools of China Academy of Sciences and China University of Science and Technology.
From June 5 to February 2000, the State Council Academic Degrees Committee and Ministry of Education approved the name of the school as Graduate School of China Academy of Sciences. In 2005, the Management Cadre College of China Academy of Sciences merged. In June, 20 12, it was renamed as University of Chinese Academy of Sciences with the approval of the Ministry of Education, and began to recruit undergraduates in 20 14.
By June 5438+February, 2022, the school was composed of four campuses in Beijing (Yuquan Road, Zhongguancun, Olympic Village and Yanqi Lake), five educational bases outside Beijing (Shanghai, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Lanzhou) and 1 13 training units distributed all over the country.
