Sanmen College of Zhejiang Radio and TV University was founded in 1979. It is one of the earliest workstations in the province and the only institution of higher learning with the nature of national education in the county. 1999 merged with Sanmen county teachers' further education school, and Sanmen county community college was established in 2005, and the management system of "three brands and one team" was implemented. Our college has nearly 10 RTVU majors, such as administration and accounting. At the same time, it has jointly run schools with Dalian University of Technology, Fujian Normal University, China Medical University and other universities, and has nearly 60 majors in civil engineering, electrical engineering and automation, nursing, pharmacy, finance and education. There are more than 2000 international students.

For more than 20 years, the school has been striving to improve the conditions and expand the scale of running a school in line with the school philosophy of "leading thinking, seeking development from outside and emphasizing quality from inside". At present, a multi-level, multi-specification and multi-form school-running model has been formed, which combines open education, correspondence education and distance education, and combines long-term training with short-term training. The school headquarters offered accounting, elementary education, computer, administration, law, Chinese language and literature, architecture and management. Peking University, Shaanxi Normal University, Jiangnan University, Shaoxing University and many other institutions of higher learning have set up teaching points in their schools, offering more than 10 majors in Chinese language and literature, mathematics, physics, English, economic management and advanced nursing. At the same time, the school also trained primary and secondary school teachers in the county, with more than 5000 participants. Training programs mainly include: primary and secondary school teachers' quality improvement training, oral English training, Putonghua training, backbone teacher training, computer training, new teacher induction training, principal training, etc.

The school has a strong faculty and advanced teaching equipment. It has newly built a modern comprehensive building, administrative building and student apartment 1 1000 square meters, and is equipped with a multi-functional lecture hall, multimedia classrooms, remote classrooms, network centers and computer rooms. A 100-megabit campus network with satellite receiving device, independent domain name, website and server has been built, a broadband private network for modern distance education in Zhejiang Radio and TV University has been opened, and modern teaching facilities such as "TV University Online" platform and "electronic official system" have been added.
