Examination nature:

The National Computer Rank Examination (hereinafter referred to as NCRE) is a national computer proficiency examination system approved by the former State Education Commission (now the Ministry of Education) and sponsored by the Education Examinations Institute of the Ministry of Education. It is geared to the society and is used to test candidates' computer application knowledge and skills.

NCRE does not aim at evaluating teaching, and the assessment content is not set according to the requirements of the school, but determined according to the different degrees and demands of different social classes for computer applications, the development of computer technology in China and the current situation of computer education, teaching and popularization in China.
