1. School of Geotechnical Engineering: There are currently teachers 10 in the School of Geotechnical Engineering of Guangdong University of Technology (including experimenters 1 person and teachers with two shoulders 1 person), including 3 professors, 5 associate professors, lecturers 1 person and experimenters/kloc-0. The geotechnical engineering discipline of Guangdong University of Technology was awarded as a key supporting discipline at the university level from 65438 to 0998, became a key discipline at the university level in 2000, was awarded as a key discipline in Guangdong Province in 2003, and was awarded as the eighth provincial key (supporting) discipline in 2007. It has experienced a long period of accumulation and construction. It is the first batch of disciplines in Guangdong province with master's degree authorization points. Our professional laboratories (geotechnical laboratory and rock mechanics laboratory) cover an area of more than 800 square meters, and have advanced fully automatic triaxial apparatus, fully automatic consolidation apparatus, rigid triaxial press, strain direct shear apparatus, high-power microscope, high-speed adjustable data acquisition system and in-situ testing and other relatively complete geotechnical test equipment. Our institute has extensive exchanges and cooperation with geotechnical engineering colleagues at home and abroad. Our teachers serve in societies or associations at all levels and professional committees in eight countries and provinces. In 2003, it became the in-situ testing training and evaluation base of geotechnical engineering in Guangdong Province, which was headed by Guangdong Quality Supervision Bureau and four major institutes.
2. Institute of Engineering Mechanics: There are 24 teachers in the Institute of Engineering Mechanics, School of Civil and Traffic Engineering, Guangdong University of Technology. Among them, there are 4 professors (all masters tutors), 7 associate professors and 2 lecturers/kloc-0. There are 6 teachers with doctoral degrees and 5 teachers with master's degrees.

Computational Mechanics Center: The Computational Mechanics Center of Guangdong University of Technology is a finite element analysis team led by Professor Chen Gongfu, a "Hundred Talents Program" of Guangdong University of Technology, and composed of many experts and professors with rich practical experience in different fields, specializing in finite element analysis of large-scale engineering problems such as mining engineering, construction engineering, bridge engineering and geotechnical engineering. The center sincerely provides professional finite element consulting services for industry. This computational mechanics center is recognized as one of the best finite element analysis teams. The center has full-time staff 16, including 5 professors, 6 associate professors and 5 other engineers and technicians. The personnel composition is reasonable. There are 5 people with doctorates in mechanics, structural engineering, bridge engineering and geotechnical engineering 1 1 person and many years of international work experience. Professor Chen Gongfu, director of the center, has 25 years of finite element analysis experience, 12 years of experience in solving engineering problems in the industry. The center has rich experimental experience in finite element analysis and multi-physical field simulation of large-scale engineering problems; Can solve the analysis of various mechanical problems in structural design and mechanical design, such as stress, fatigue, vibration, buckling and so on. In particular, it is unique in simulating the hidden dangers caused by mining activities such as surface subsidence, roof caving and groundwater gushing, and has rich practice in the stability analysis of open pit mines and road slopes. Brief introduction of the structural laboratory: The structural laboratory was established on the basis of the original laboratory of the Civil Engineering Department of Guangdong Institute of Technology and the original laboratory of the East Campus of South China Institute of Architecture. Yes 1998 Guangdong civil engineering first-class laboratory was named "Guangdong civil engineering experimental teaching demonstration center" in 2009 and "national civil engineering experimental teaching demonstration center" in 20 13. At present, the structural laboratory of Guangdong University of Technology is a first-class structural laboratory in China.
Structural Engineering Laboratory is a basic laboratory with professional characteristics approved by Guangdong University of Technology. Located in the newly-built Guangzhou University Town, the experimental hall is 27X78m2, with a clearance of 18m and an auxiliary room of 420m2. The experimental platform and reaction wall are prestressed reinforced concrete structures, and the substructure of the experimental platform is a hollow basement structure. The effective use area of the pedestal is 24x36m2, and the upper part has a two-way reaction wall with L-shaped hollow structure. The effective width of the west wall is 14m, the north wall is 36m, and the height of the reaction wall is14.6m. This laboratory is one of the large structural laboratories in China, with the largest infrastructure in South China. Because of its superior geographical location, it will become an open structure experimental center centered on Guangzhou University Town, connecting Guangzhou urban area with Foshan, Dongguan, Shenzhen and the Pan-Pearl River Delta region.
