1 937165438+1October1The National Temporary University of Changsha, jointly founded by the National Peking University, the National Tsinghua University and the private Nankai University, opened in Changsha (this day also became the anniversary day of the National Southwest Associated University). Because Changsha was bombed by Japanese planes,1in mid-February, 938, Changsha Temporary University was moved to Kunming in three ways with the approval of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of China.
1938 changed its name to National Southwest Associated University in April. 1August 1946, after the three schools were demobilized and returned to the north, the Teachers College of National Southwest United University left the former site of Kunming United University to set up independently, and was named National Kunming Normal University.1August 1984, it was renamed Yunnan Normal University.
Its former site is now the national key cultural relics protection unit, the first batch of 100 patriotic education demonstration bases, the national red tourism classic scenic spot, the national red tourism boutique route, the national cross-strait exchange base, the national anti-Japanese war memorial facility site, the national free open museum, the NLD central traditional education base, and the Yunnan social science popularization demonstration base.
