Laiwu Vocational and Technical College is a full-time general higher vocational college approved by the Shandong Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. The college, formerly known as Laiwu Normal School, was founded in 1952. In June 2000, Laiwu Vocational and Technical College was formed by the merger of the former Laiwu Normal School, Laiwu No.2 Vocational Secondary School, Laiwu Radio and TV University and Laiwu Health Workers Secondary Vocational School.
