Lanzhou Petrochemical Vocational and Technical College, located in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, is a public undergraduate vocational and technical university.
The school has been selected into China's characteristic high-level vocational schools and professional construction plans, National Model Vocational College, National High-quality Vocational College, National Modern Apprenticeship Pilot College, and Gansu's "Double First-class" university construction unit, and established Gansu Industrial Technician College and Gansu Petrochemical Technician College.
The history of the school can be traced back to 1956, when Lanzhou Petroleum School of the Ministry of Petroleum and Lanzhou Chemical School of the Ministry of Chemical Industry, Lanlian Staff University and Lanhua Staff University were founded, and 1999 was transformed into Lanzhou Petrochemical Vocational and Technical College.
