Shenyang Staff University is a multi-disciplinary, multi-degree and comprehensive adult college founded by Shenyang Federation of Trade Unions, approved by Shenyang Municipal People's Government and put on record by the State Education Commission, with more than 4,000 students. Over the years, the school has been awarded the title of advanced school for adult higher education by the municipal, provincial and state education commissions for many times. 1996 was awarded as an advanced school-running unit by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions. In the same year, it was rated as an excellent school in the province in the evaluation of running a school organized by the Provincial Education Commission. 1999 was awarded the title of National Trade Union System Staff University Model School by the National Federation of Trade Unions.
