1, University of Science and Technology of China

University of Science and Technology China, selected as the lowest-key university in China, is a national key science and engineering university directly under the China Academy of Sciences, focusing on cutting-edge science and high technology, characteristic management and humanities. It is also the first batch of key construction institutions of "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Project".

2. Lanzhou University

In 2002 and 2004, the former Gansu Grassland Ecology Institute and Lanzhou Medical College were merged into Lanzhou University. Lanzhou University is located in the remote western part of Gansu, which is relatively closed, so when there are many universities to choose from in coastal areas, if not in the northwest, there are not many universities to choose from.

3. Tianjin University

Tianjin University, selected as the lowest-key university in China, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education. Founded on February 2nd 1895, it enjoys a good reputation at home and abroad with its motto of "seeking truth from facts", rigorous academic spirit and tradition of "patriotic dedication". However, just like the relationship between Tianjin and Beijing, many people who choose to study in the north go directly to popular universities in Beijing, ignoring Tianjin.
